For the fine cut version, please proceed here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vTHhG6...
So this is how it all went down. On April 30, I sent my girlfriend a rough cut for my latest film about a stairwell that loops back into itself. I wanted to get her comments before I completed the final edit (trimming for pacing, sound mixing, etc.). That was a Tuesday. So for the next two days, after she and I had talked about it, I locked myself in an edit suite and started polishing the film and finalizing it.
When I emerged from solitary confinement on Thursday night, I learned that my rough cut had been stolen, and stolen, and stolen over the internet and had accumulated over half a million views combined. It was exciting. But, at the same time, I felt icky about the fact that it was my rough version. It's like being pushed onto the stage before you've cleaned the crust off your eyes and trimmed your nose hairs :o
So I've pasted a link (see above) to the final cut that I came up with during those two days, and I how I'd hoped the film would be viewed. Thanks so much for watching!
