Author's Notes Edit
While reading this, please keep in mind that this is my first attempt at a creepypasta, so if this is the worst thing ever or something then that would be the explanation, also, i'm 10 so you can also blame that, enjoy the story I guess.
The Story. Edit
Rollercoaster Tycoon was never really a part of my childhood (4-8 years of age), I was born in the early 2000's and my first two games were on the Gamecube and Wii, in case you're wondering these games are Zelda Wind Waker and Smash Bros Brawl. It wasn't until I saw Vinesauce's video on it that I gained much interest in the series, at a flea market I was wandering around until I saw a box, the box had a bunch of VHS tapes and stuff but what caught my eye was Rollercoaster Tycoon 1 and 2 and 4 expansions (2 for each game) in a nice looking CD case, I already had RCT1 on Steam but I wanted to have it on CD because it would look nice on a shelf or something, I asked the guy selling it how much it costs and he says 50 cents, I pay him the money and I take the game home. I took the 2 CD cases out of the box, RCT1's box was still sealed so i knew it would be complete, for RCT2 I was out luck because instead of the base was was disc 1 for Age of Mythologies. I popped the disc in to install the game and all the extensions, then I loaded it up, I clicked New Game and started on an amusement park, I began building some attractions and opened the park to the public, a bunch of people came to the park but barely anyone would actually ride something, every time someone would enter a ride they would just go back to walking around and say something like: "(attraction name) is way too frightening for me." this happened on every attraction, the people that do decide to ride something just crash and die, this also happened on everything, even the Merry-Go-Round, the game eventually crashed. I searched this up on Google and there where a few people that had the same problem, apparently a limited number of copies where printed of the game with this problem to prank unlucky consumers, a patch was later released for this version of the game in 2000. I installed the patch off Atari's website and everything worked fine after that. What i still don't know is how the Age of Mythologies disc got there, people are just stupid I guess.
